Description
Beginner Nail Training is perfect for anyone starting their journey in the nail industry — whether you’ve never picked up a nail file before or you’ve completed training in the past but still feel unsure about your skills. We focus on building a strong foundation by teaching proper preparation, clean technique, and safe working habits. With a mix of theory and hands-on practice, you’ll gain the confidence and knowledge to create neat, long-lasting nails and work comfortably with clients.

Course information
- Location: 📍📍 Newmarket, Suffolk
- Duration: 3 days (3 Saturdays)
- Group size: Maximum of 3 students
- Preparation: Before the training, you will receive a training manual with video demonstrations by email. Please read and watch these in advance. This way, you’ll already be familiar with the structure, and during the training we can focus mainly on hands-on practice with a model.
- Hours:
- • 10:00 – 17:00/18:00 : approximately
- Structure: Day 1 – Practice on yourself. Days 2–3 – Practice on models (provided).
- Materials: You don’t need to bring anything with you. All tools and materials will be provided, so you can fully concentrate on learning and practicing.
- Lunch: Please bring your own lunch. On the training day, you will have access to coffee, tea, water, and snacks. If you don’t have time to prepare lunch, there is a Co-op supermarket just 5 minutes’ walk from the training venue.
- Certification: ABT Certificate of Completion (allows you to apply for insurance and purchase professional products).

- Health & Safety – Tool disinfection, sterilization, contraindications.
- Proper Use of E-File Drill Bits – Purpose and correct usage.
- Gel Overlay Removal with E-File – Safe removal without soaking.
- E-File Preparation (Russian Manicure Style) – Clean, neat prep.
- Safe Cuticle Removal – Correct use of nippers or scissors.
- Nail Shaping – Symmetrical, balanced shaping.
- Base Coat / BIAB Application – Self-levelling technique without filing.
- Neat Gel Polish Application – Under the cuticle line for lasting results.
- Nail Repair – Repair damaged nails for consistent length and shape.
- Lifting Prevention – Causes and how to prevent them.
