1:1 — Hard Gel for Natural Nails is a private training for nail techs who want stronger retention, cleaner structure, and confident hard gel work on any nail type.

In this course you’ll learn how one jar of hard gel can solve the most common client problems—lifting, chipping, and breakages—whether nails are short or long, weak and brittle, or naturally strong. You’ll gain the skills to choose the right consistency, control the product, and build a thin but durable overlay that looks natural and lasts for weeks.

We’ll focus on:

  • Hard gel selection + product control

  • Thin, strong application (no bulk)

  • Perfect structure + clean shaping for a natural finish

  • Repairs on damaged nails + correcting uneven shapes

  • Prevention of lifting for long-lasting retention

Because this is a 1:1 course, you’ll have my full attention all day. The training is tailored to your current level and goals, with step-by-step demos, lots of hands-on practice, and instant feedback—so you leave confident to deliver professional hard gel results clients will rebook for.

What you will learn

  • Choosing the Right Hard Gel – Learn about different types of hard gels and when to use them.
  • Hard Gel Application – Apply hard gel thinly and evenly on various nail shapes for a natural yet strong finish.
  • Working with Crooked or Curled Nails – Correct uneven shapes and create a uniform look for all nails.
  • Nail Shaping – Perfect crisp, symmetrical shapes that flatter each client’s hands.
  • Nail Repair – Seamlessly restore damaged nails using hard gel.
  • Preventing Lifting – Recognize and address the main causes of lifting for long-lasting results.

Course information

  • Location: 📍📍 Newmarket, Suffolk
  • Duration: Flexible (depends on selected course)
  • Group size: 1 student (private training)
  • Preparation: Before the training, you will receive a training manual with video demonstrations by email. Please read and watch these in advance. This way, you’ll already be familiar with the structure, and during the training we can focus mainly on hands-on practice with a model.
  • Hours:
    • • 10:00 – 17:00/18:00 : approximately
  • Structure: Available for all courses in my training programme. Same high-quality content as group classes but delivered one-on-one. Models provided (unless you wish to bring your own).
  • Materials: Includes all course materials, printed manual, and a certificate upon completion.
  • Lunch: Please bring your own lunch. On the training day, you will have access to coffee, tea, water, and snacks. If you don’t have time to prepare lunch, there is a Co-op supermarket just 5 minutes’ walk from the training venue.
  • Certification: ABT Certificate of Completion (allows you to apply for insurance and purchase professional products).
